If you want to follow the Minor Computational Science, please use the central UvA minor application procedure via uva.nl/minoren or more directly via the step-by-step procedure. From there you will be directed to the application environment. After completing the application through the central UvA system, make sure to also submit the selection form where we ask additional information.

During the application period, students submit their application through the PowerApp and can list up to three minor preferences. Any required documents can be uploaded there as part of the application.

The application period lasts five weeks and closes 20 days before the start of course registration. After the application deadline, UvA checks entry requirements and capacity restrictions. Students receive the outcome of their application 7 days before the start of course registration.

Please note that being placed in the minor does not automatically complete your course enrolment. Students must also make sure they are properly re-enrolled in their degree programme and follow the UvA course registration instructions in time.

Exchange students, students who want to take two minors at the same time, and students who have already started the minor should contact the relevant education desk, because their application does not follow the regular PowerApp route.
